On why the small rituals still deserve a company that takes them seriously.
Dear Guests, Growers, Investors, and Team—
ChocoJava exists because I could not stop noticing how often specialty coffee, considered tea, and fine chocolate are treated as separate businesses, each competing for a corner of a menu. In practice, they are the same discipline: sourcing from small producers with real names, insisting on craft in the roasting or blending or tempering, and serving guests in a way that respects the time it took to make what’s in front of them.
Our company was built to hold all three under one operating standard. The result is a menu that is unusually deep for a cafe of any size, and a supply chain that treats a Peruvian coffee cooperative, a Madagascar cacao lot, and a Rwandan tea garden as equally important. Every store we open should feel like walking into a place that spent years thinking about what it wanted to serve you before you arrived.
What we’re building
Over the next several years we are expanding ChocoJava across four store formats—flagship boutiques, community cafes, airport and transit units, and food-hall footprints—anchored by a vertically integrated supply chain and supported by direct-to-consumer, franchise, and corporate accounts programs. Behind all of it is a committed capital plan of $21.204B across twenty vehicles — eight in the 2026 vintage and twelve in the 2028 vintage — structured so we can build patient sourcing relationships and long-lived leases without pretending they will pay off in a single quarter.
We chose Dallas as our headquarters because it is a great place to serve guests, a strong base for direct trade with Latin American origins, and a market where our operating team can build our first flagships without abstraction. From here, we are moving deliberately into the metros where our formats fit best.
What I ask of you
If you are a guest, come in with an appetite for something considered, and tell us when we get it right or when we don’t. If you are a grower, hold us to the pricing and pace of orders that make your work sustainable. If you are an investor, hold us to unit economics and to the mission at the same time. If you work at ChocoJava, hold us to being the kind of company you are proud to be part of on the hard days as well as the good ones.
Thank you for being part of the story we are trying to tell—one sip, one bite, one guest at a time.
